Submissions of Design Projects are invited as part of Student Design Consortium (SDC) track. SDC submissions may address any area of HCI, including those identified in the conference topics.

Submissions should report original work and must not have been published, archived or showcased previously.

Students can submit their classroom projects, thesis projects or personal projects. All submissions will be juried by the chairs and a panel of expert reviewers. As part of the review process students will receive invaluable feedback from the reviewers, and will get a chance to showcase as representative student work during the conference.

Eligibility

Currently enrolled students, and recent graduates in calendar year 2019 at undergraduate or master’s level with background in Interaction Design or HCI, Industrial and Product Design, Visual Communication, Architecture (and others) are eligible to submit for this track.

Eligible students can make submissions as individuals or as groups of not more than 5 members. Students from different educational institutes can co-author their group submissions.

Mentors to design projects including faculty members and professionals, if any, are not eligible as authors to this track. However, they should be acknowledged separately, wherever needed.


Submission Details

A 3-4 page paper submission in the Springer LNCS Format. Submissions with accompanying illustrations and images, which communicate your work, are highly encouraged. The accompanying illustrations and images can be included as an annex up to a maximum of 5 additional pages, with a total file size of less than 10 MB.
