Registration

Local community: Limited opportunity to participate in courses

Registration to INTERACT can be done via SBC’s ECOS registration system.

The deadline for author registration in all tracks has been extended until 2 July 2025, following instabilities with the credit card payment provider.

Registration will be processed by the Brazilian Computer Society’s registration system (ECOS) with prices in Brazilian real (BRL), with the possibility of paying with any international credit card. The registration system will be available soon.

Registration for all participants in INTERACT will include:

  • three days of the main conference (Wednesday to Friday)
  • two coffee breaks per day
  • conference dinner (Wednesday 10th September)
  • free access to the Brazilian Symposium on Human Factors on Computing Systems (IHC) on Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th September (The event will be mainly in Portuguese, but the organisation will announce if there are any sessions in English)

The single day registration gives access to talks, panels, technical sessions and coffee breaks for one of the three days of the main conference. It does not include the conference dinner and does not cover the requirement for author registration.

INTERACT 2025 will have different categories for registration, considering:

  • Member: Member of an IFIP associated national computer science organization (see IFIP Members Page), including the ACM. Evidence of association will be requested at the time of registration.
  • Retired person: evidence of your status will be requested at the time of registration.
  • Student: full-time student at any level (Bachelor, Masters or PhD). Evidence of enrollment will be requested at the time of registration.
  • Low and middle-income participants: Participants in this category must be from and currently live and study/research in a low or middle-income country (see https://www.un.org/development/desa/dpad/wp-content/uploads/sites/45/WESP_2024_Web.pdf – page 136 for eligible countries). Evidence will be requested at the time of registration. Registration for those participants will be subsidised by funding from Brazilian research councils.
  • Registration must be completed by midnight on the discount date, Brasília time (GMT -3).
