Doctoral consortium
The INTERACT 2007 Doctoral Consortium is a forum for Ph.D. students to publicly discuss their research goals, methods, and results at an early stage in their research. The Doctoral Consortium aims to provide useful guidance for completion of the dissertation research and initiation of a research career.
The Doctoral Consortium will be held on 11 September 2007.
The Doctoral Consortium and INTERACT 2007 provide an opportunity for student participants to interact with other students at a similar stage in their careers, established researchers, and the broader HCI community. Students should consider participating in the Doctoral Consortium in the last six months before completion of their dissertations, but after having settled on a research area or dissertation topic. Students selected to attend the Doctoral Consortium, typically those at a sufficiently mature stage of their research, will be asked to present a talk about their work to get feedback for future directions.
